CHAPTER 4
A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM
I was interested to learn that in the
eighteenth chapter of Matthew in your present day bible
it is written. "Except ye become as little children,
ye cannot see the Kingdom of God ..." for in the
days of Khe and Atlantean progress it was a small child
who initiated our greatest discovery.
Fear of trespassing into the field of black
light had halted intensive
investigation into further aspects of the mind. Then a
little boy stated
that he refused to believe that a bad thought could
emanate from the
spiritual mind, even though scientific logic dictated
that variations in
spiritual thought, as reflected in the aura, its
brightness, colour,
width, and striations could have no other meaning.
To have an accepted scientific conclusion
challenged by a childishly
illogical argument caused quite a furore. But after
careful study of
this idea, "Thinkers" became divided in
opinion, bringing forth
arguments in favour of, and against, this new suggestion.
"If Spirit is perfect, and man's spirit
is in His likeness, how can
imperfection spring from such a source, even though
apparent facts show
otherwise" ... reasoned the pro's.
"Instrumentation clearly proves otherwise..."
said the "cons," and in a
very short space of time the elders became embroiled in
hot controversy
over the issue.
About this time a small group of chemists
announced the discovery of a
new chemical formula that added weight to the arguments
in favour of the
new theory. The formula was announced with a very terse
comment
regarding its effects on the mind and shortly afterwards
its further use
was banned by the powerful group still opposed to the new
childish
theory which would topple the established logical
conclusions of the
times. The secret leaked out however, that early tests
with the new
chemical compound showed that it produced certain
reactions indicating
the possibility of
(a) Increasing the vibrational power of the
spiritual mind.
(b) Decreasing the V.P.S. of the preconscious in such a
manner that the
subject came entirely under the influence of spiritual
thought.
It would have been simple to solve this riddle
by administering the
drug and calibrating the aurae of the persons under its
influence. But
it was banned too quickly and the details of its
discovery did not reach
the smaller "pros" group until after the "cons"
had successfully
suppressed it.
The delayed announcement of the finding of
such a formula, giving
temporary freedom from physical dominance, (similar to
today's
psychedelics) did however spark the necessary impetus to
cause a
reopening into the facts of the matter.
And in the overall effect a great deal more
was accomplished.
Never again was any child taught that the sum knowledge
presently at
hand was equal to the sum total of all knowledge.
As a simple case in common; that 2 plus 2 = 4
being a fact that none
could disprove, must only be accepted in conjunction with
the absence of
any other factor. Should other factors become involved in
the sum, two
plus two could equal almost any number.
The split in scientific opinion forced the
weaker group, those in
favour of the new theory, into subversive methods of
procedure. It was
considered that further advances could best be made by
simple
observation. A prismatic device was made for this purpose
which was
capable of picking up the calibrations of both aurae.
This device was designed to fit tightly
against the eye of the
observer, enabling him to study intimately, any group of
people or any
individual without being noticed.
The wearers of these lens were highly skilled
in the art of translating
various aura shades and calibrations, and their
observations were
further checked by other experts whose job it was to
study the copious
charts produced, and to analyze the interrelationships
involved.
Conclusions bore out the fact that the
spiritual aura captured
permanently the fleeting record of the various colours
which were
registered in the physical aura, and DID NOT reflect only
the spiritual
thought of the person under study.
The charts also proved conclusively that every
thought relayed to the
conscious mind resulted in a dual form of energy release
which was
simultaneously interpreted into.
(a) Physical action by the body.
(b) Glandular action, or emotion within the body.
Of these two, only the emotional reaction
showed in the physical aura,
and emotion, being known as a glandular function, must
also trigger a
chemical reaction. Emotional stress or stability then, is
the direct
result of preconscious thought, based on the stored
preconscious
knowledge acquired in a lifetime. How important it is,
that stored
knowledge be based on unbiased truth rather than
egotistical fabrication
or erroneous teaching.
The item on page 25 of THE INNER POWER ...
"There is no apple pie as
good as Mother used to make", illustrates this point.
Another "Apple Pie"
story might now be in order to further demonstrate how
ego magnifies its associations.
"A young lady married a widower. Being
anxious to please in every way,
she endeavoured to make their homelife exactly in
accordance with his
wishes. He was particularly partial to apple pie, but as
time passed it
became apparent that the new wife's apple pie was never
quite
satisfactory. Her husband made various comments on each
one ... this was
a trifle too sweet, the next a little underspiced. There
always seemed
to be a little something missing to make them slightly
below the
standard set by his first wife.
Finally, in desperation, the second wife paid
a visit to a close friend
of her predecessor ... and learned the lady's secret.
That night she
triumphantly awaited her husband's comment.
"Ah!" he exclaimed, "just right!"
And from that time forward their
matrimonial bliss continued without interruption. For the
friend had
revealed how the first wife had never managed to bake a
pie without
scorching it! !!"
In this sense, with ego as censor of truth,
the human being is no
longer master of his emotions but the servant of biased
reflection,
and subservient to his emotional reactions which are all
influenced by
likes and dislikes ... the two opposing chemical
reactions triggered by
all the lower scales of magnetic vibration.
In these cases, when any preconscious thought
is fed to the conscious,
the thought is based on all the acquired items of
knowledge available,
SUITABLY CENSORED, and being fifth in the magnetic
vibrational scale, it
will manifest in one way or another all of the lesser
scales; light,
colour, sound (odour), and heat.
As the physical mind gains its knowledge from
the messages received
by its five senses (sight, hearing, touch, taste and
smell), so the
spiritual mind has awareness of spiritual matters. Being
without ego,
spirit is aware of truth; being the offspring of love,
spirit understands
love, and finds joy in the pride of spiritual achievement.
Imprisoned in flesh for its moment on Earth,
spiritual thought has no
means of expression except through the conscious. In the
human being the
task of the spiritual mind is to "beep" its
thoughts into the conscious
to correct the errors transmitted by the preconscious.
But the conscious,
unable to think, is unaware of the source of these
communications
and cannot distinguish between right and wrong, so reacts
obediently
to each instruction, causing an emotional colour
reflection in the physical
aura, which again is reflected on the permanent record of
the spiritual aura.
Having the capacity to think, the preconscious
mind is aware of truth
and falsehood only if it is without ego ... such a man
rarely walks this
earth. Few indeed have any vague idea of ego's cunning.
As with the preconscious, the spiritual mind
has available within
itself access to all the vibrational scales below its
own; so it
contains within itself the powers of light, colour, sound
(odour) and
heat.
Charts showing the calibrations of the
spiritual aura, starting at 55
X 10/24 and rising to 55 X 10/31 indicated that the
latter figure is the
point where white spiritual light is reached. None of the
physical
sciences has ever gone beyond this point. In Suerne and
Atlantis, having
made this discovery, the scientists then began to
concentrate upon
adding to the knowledge available to them within this
scale.
In the last few years, when explaining these
facts to my 20th Century
pupil, I have tried to show how magnetic vibrational
scales can be
compared to chords on a piano. And how spiritual guides
today, who
operate on any one of the seven scales above the range of
the earthbound
spirit, will each "lend" their scale for the
advancement of the human
spirit.
In this manner, as one goes deeper and deeper
into meditation, the four
and one half percent of preconscious power can be
augmented by the
full one hundred per cent capacity of the heavenly host
... up to Deity.
Deity, the centre and source of all magnetic
vibrational power, must
then contain within Itself all lesser chords; All
knowledge; All
Power; All Love ... for without love there would be
nothing. For love,
Supreme Being literally shattered Itself into little
pieces, and gave an
equal portion to each of Its creation, to develop as they
chose.
What happens at the time of death, was the
next question to arise in
the minds of my forebears. This subject seemed worthy of
further
investigation.
Death represents the cessation of motion and
emotion within the
physical being. It was originally theorized and later
proven, that death
also marked the end of the physical aura. Complete
unconscious also
erases the physical aura, however, it was verified that
there are two
degrees of unconsciousness, one actually being a semi-conscious
state
which leaves the conscious devoid of manipulative force
but able to
pick up preconscious thought. Semi-unconsciousness and
total
unconsciousness each mean the elimination of ego --
giving further proof
of ego's position of censor, one's only true enemy.
Quite often before death is complete, possibly
an hour or so before the
body ceases to function, the physical aura fads out. At
this time the
spiritual aura may separate from the body but hovers very
close to its
physical counterpart for an appreciable length of time.
In Atlantis, it was considered that no person
could be pronounced
officially dead until such time as the spiritual aura had
departed.
Tests also showed that in most cases of violent death,
the spiritual
aura left the body instantaneously, almost as if it had
been jolted
loose from its moorings. Once given an opportunity to get
over the
initial shock, the spiritual aura would do its utmost to
get back into
the body and keep it functioning, provided two conditions
could be met,
an undamaged conscious and a non-functioning preconscious.
Where the subject was in a deep coma for
instance, given freedom of
expression, the spiritual mind could direct the conscious
in ways to
heal the body, not allowing the coma to be lifted until
the necessary
repairs had been completed.
At this time in the history of Swn and
Atlantis (which might also be
considered human history), the machine age now came into
prominence.
During this period of technological experimentation, the
men dedicated
to producing engineering marvels invaded the fields of
mind study. While
undoubtedly the overall result was of service to mankind,
a feeling of
horror was experienced by the Theochristic philosophers
when attempts
were made to build equipment that could reproduce
spiritual vibrations
-- or any part of spirit. It would not be fair to present
an incomplete
picture of progress by ignoring these attempts.
The task of making a machine capable of
reproducing the physical aura
was comparatively simple. It was well known among
scientists that
scintillating light could be produced in their
laboratories by energy
vibrations. Spiritual aura, appearing as a rainbow,
apparently defied
imitation.
Machines were developed that could create each
of the spectral colours,
and by increasing or decreasing the magnetic vibrational
calibrations,
shadings of any of these colours could be manufactured.
Other pieces of equipment were designed to
think and react in the same
manner as the preconscious might be expected to react,
once a particular
piece of information was fed into it. But such thoughts
would not
reflect in the spectral colours as no emotional reaction
ensued.
Further adaptations gave the "Automan"
the ability to pick up
"emotional reactions", the second ability of
the conscious, which led to
an automan with the faulty of being able to pick up
preconscious
thought on its way to the conscious as one aspect;
ability to receive
the conscious' emotional interpretation; and ability to
register the
action instigated by the conscious as a result of the
message ... so
that this computer could register three separate answers
as these
vibrations were received.
This still resulted in partial reproductive
failure until further
modifications "taught" automan to take into
account the various chemical
reactions and glandular functions within the body in
relationship to
particular emotions. A single vibrational measurement
gave but a single
answer, and what was at first thought to be different
reactions in two
persons was later recognized as meaning only that a
different
calibration was being received, as proven by the varying
shadings in the
aurotic reaction of a single person to identical
suggestions presented
on different days. Thus weather, hunger, state of
physical being,
menstrual cycle etc., were found to affect the individual
reaction.
Automan's limitations in reproducing human
reactions were so
demonstrated. For automan never failed to respond to an
identical
suggestion in an identical manner regardless of the time
of day or the
day of the week. It was without the variable factor of
its human
counterpart.
Students of a separate research group had, for
many decades, been
interested in the various physical reactions to assorted
stimuli and
were in possession of the answer to this particular phase
of enquiry.
Their studies had shown that physical and chemical
reaction within the
body was instigated by the conscious. They had classified
increased
heart beat, more rapid breathing etc., as physical
reaction; and such
things as rise in body heat, perspiration, internal
chemical secretion
etc., as chemical reaction.
Automan then, had to be modified in such a way
as to include the
ability to register calibrations of all these items at
one time.
All this was achieved. It now became possible
to use test personnel to
estimate what reactions would occur in different people
to the same
suggestion under the same set of circumstances. The
Technologists were
jubilant! The findings appeared conclusive. Without any
doubt, it
should now be possible to evaluate emotional reaction
down to the last
degree ... only it didn't work. The emotional reaction in
separate
people to an exact set of circumstances differed.
Disappointment was followed by furious
activity. A long term research
programme was inaugurated to solve this problem. Selected
infants, both
male and female, were taken until a fourth generation was
born of the
original groups' exact circumstances. They were then
intermarried, and
their progeny was raised in exactly the same manner, and
so on until a
fourth generation was born of the original groups
ancestry. At no time
did any of these people mix with normal society, nor did
any one receive
training the others did not. The fourth generation group
of the "Abwa",
as they came to be known, were controlled products of
such magnetic
vibrational exactitude that to all outward appearances
and reactional
measurement, their minds were in perfect sympathy and
synchronization
one with the others. Being closely related they were also
very much
alike in physical appearance.
Subjecting these people to a new automan
brought results that gladdened
the hearts of its developers. It appeared that
generations of
painstaking projects were to be finally rewarded ... for
the emotional
reactions of the Abwa were identical in every calibrated
measurement.
Invitations to other scientific groups were
sent out, and all went well
until one day a visiting expert from the group who
specialized in visual
observation of the spiritual aura declared that he saw
definite
differences in both shading and width of some of the
colour bands in the
spiritual aura of the Abwa.
Wow! did aurotic sparks fly!!! at first
unbelieving, then furious at
having their scientific hopes of centuries dashed to the
ground,
Automan's advocates were equally enraged at the keen
interest displayed
in their emotional fireworks by the group who were
trained to observe
aurae, and the cool way in which these people drew colour
charts to
trace their reactions, for all were fully aware of what
these colours
indicated.
The resultant scientific furore reopened the
long suppressed argument
started by the innocent childish belief many generations
before; for
there were still two definite camps of thought on this
subject.
It appeared that the variations in the
spiritual aurae of the Abwa gave
credence to what had long been believed and taught by the
Metaphysicians
... that the spiritual self was pure and perfect, in the
likeness of its
Creator and neither circumstances, nor all the arts of
man could
separate an individual from knowledge of Spirit -- unless
it be
individual ego.
For clarity, perhaps it would be better to
define the Machine Age --
Scientists of Atlantis as being similar to today's I.B.M.
experts and
Physicists, and to define the group working along the
lines of
understanding the mind as today's psychologists and
metaphysicians --
grouped somewhat differently than they are today in the
20th Century.
The net outcome of this discord was the
banning of any further
experimentation in Atlantis. And in Suerne, the child's
theory,
suspected for generations as being true, was given long
awaited sanction
as accepted fact. The Abwa people, social misfits because
of their
unusual environment, were sent to Suerne in the hopes
that they could be
repatriated into society as useful and happy citizens.
Much compassion is due these long dead
ancestors of ours.
Their search for truth led into many puzzling highways
and byways, as
they struggled without the benefit of prayer and
meditation to pit their
intelligence against Intelligence to prove their theories.
There are
still people who battle along these same lines today...
Prior to the foregoing revelation, it had been
thought and taught, that
as every baby was born with an identical aura, the reason
he grew up to
be "bad" or "good" was because the
sins of the fathers were contained
within him, though not observable. It was considered
unavoidable that
each child must "live out" these inborn
ancestral errors.
It was well known that genes and chromosomes
could not carry memory
into the new baby, but how else could Atlanteans explain
the enigma of
incredible things experienced by so many people of widely
differing
backgrounds ... the strong feeling that certain things
had been
experienced before, that they had known certain places
before, felt
kinship with certain individuals. Under hypnosis the
results had been
even more startling, many claiming to have lived before
in much earlier
times.
In the minds of my people in those far off
days, none of these
happenings could be explained in any manner other than by
theories
similar to those held by believers in reincarnation. It
was thought that
in some way, the spiritual aura relived the things which
accompanied
acquired ancestral weaknesses and strengths, which were
constantly being
handed down from one generation to the next.
This reasoning gave ample explanation for the
wide variations in
spiritual aurae among young children of similar
background ... and
fostering belief in acquired vices or virtues certainly
had advantages.
Any person with criminal tendencies would
consider them inherited and
soon turn himself over to the authorities for an aura
reading and
corrective treatment for fear that he may pass on the
curse to
offspring. During treatment such a person would be
restricted from
mingling with society.
The more sons born to a man, the better this
was considered to be, as a
single son might have the whole load of error to bear,
while this burden
might be more equally distributed between many male
offspring.
This again gave good reason for the head of a
family to be especially
careful concerning his conduct, and the necessity for
making each
offspring fully conversant with the consequences of error
and the brave
history of his forbears. (A fore runner of ancestor
worship).
Nothing in experiments conducted up to this
time indicated any reason
to change this line of thinking. It was good reasoning,
lacking in only
one element ... truth. Facts were especially enhanced in
the minds of
the people which gave strength to these beliefs.
Atlanteans never gave
up these basic tenants and this was a major difference of
opinion
between Atlanteans and Suernians, a division which later
grew as
Atlanteans placed quite strong emphasis upon
reincarnation theories,
while the people of Khe came to understand individual
responsibility and
rejected these older beliefs entirely.
But this still left one small group of free
thinkers who were not
completely satisfied with the teachings of the time.
Though logic and
research supported each phase in official beliefs, these
few
Metaphysicians could only describe their dissatisfaction
as a sense that
something was lacking. Two and two make four, they
reasoned, only when
all the facts involved are present. This inner feeling of
a missing
factor led them to suspect that some obscure point was
being overlooked.
In particular, the group had difficulty in
reconciling the numerous
spiritual manifestations with the reincarnation idea.
Such supernatural visitations were supposed to be
ancestors returning
through the colour vibrations of the spiritual aura to
indicate that
they could not be "at peace" in the Spirit
World until family purity had
been attained.
Significance was placed on the term "peace"
in the traditional story,
and in searching for an answer to this question, the
Metaphysical
group remained together to continue studies. "What
life could there be
after death?" they wondered ... "Is peace the
end of a second "Life"?
...
Forbidden the use of any apparatus, the group
was inactive for awhile.
Meanwhile, the technologists were loudly proclaiming that
man was
fallible, but given time, an infallible automan could be
invented that
could be depended on to do exactly what was required of
it with perfect
accuracy.
