CHAPTER 4

The great Flood
2090 B.C. to 1980 B.C.

110 Years

Earlier in this series our scribe has spoken of the aura which surrounds each living thing with a scintillating flow of light. Earth, too, has an aura, made up of every emotional event which has occurred on its surface. Thus, human history encircles the biosphere like a series of widening ripples when a stone is thrown into a still pool.

From the viewpoint of my dimension, earth has been shrouded in an
emotional shadow with occasional beings, alert to spiritual direction,
piercing the gloom like shafts of sunlight.

Oh, what joy these light rays afford us, knowing how all earthlings
will benefit! These are the pathways of spiritual knowledge down which
we, the enlightened, can travel to speed the dawn of a new earth-day
when all can enjoy emotional freedom and spiritual awareness.

From our perspective, earth history and evolutionary progress is
brought about by quite different personalities from those recorded in
your history books. Rarely does the mighty ruler or great church leader
appear to us as a shaft of light. But when such an event does occur
aeons of human progress can follow in a comparatively short period of
time.

Far more often the work of leading earthlings into the light is brought
about by relatively obscure individuals whose names may never be
recorded in earthly annals, but whose words of wisdom were picked up by
leaders and echoed by them as their own original creative thoughts.
Thus, these thoughts were able to have positive far reaching effects on
human history.

In our dimension we are little concerned with who gets the credit for
achieving a particular spiritual goal, for all are one in endeavour, and
the details hold interests only for ego. Rather, our concern is that the
objective be attained so that all earthlings may benefit.

Therefore, the earthling who serves the Master best is not he or she
who continually questions us as to future plans and their particular
role in the overall scheme. The best servant is one who has faith that
the outcome of anything we propose is for the good of all, and so does
his or her particular part whether it be small or large to the very best
of his or her ability.

Through his earthly instrument, the cosmic lord, Loliad-R-Kahn, is now
in the process of setting up countless rays of light to be channels for
enlightenment. Now they appear as little candles burning in the night --
but soon the wattage of many of these will increase, so enabling a
constant flow of spiritual influence to penetrate the gloom. Then the
dark night of earth will be ended and the age of enlightenment
established on your planet, in much the same way as the personal "dark
night of the soul" precedes the individual's dawn of spiritual sunrise.

In the fourteen hundred years following the fall of Atlantis, earth was
gradually dragged into one of the darkest periods in its spiritual
history. For decades prior to making their fatal experiment, the
Atlantean theurgists had discussed and detailed their proposed plan
among the ruling factions of the known world. But while most of this
information was carefully tabulated and preserved in thick stone vaults
which served as the Church's archives, the knowledge was available to
only a select few of the priesthood and ruling class. The public at
large was taught an entirely different version of the disaster, based
entirely on anger of the gods, vengeance and fear.

This enabled the rulers to wield the masses by threat of cosmic
reprisal for disobedience. It resulted in ego-mania in a few leaders and
the eventual suppression of any noble instinct a man might have. Under
this influence the human race sank to a more bestial level than at any
time before or since in human history.
The tortures meted out to anyone who tried to express opposing ideas to
the priesthood were cruel beyond belief. Many thousands were castrated
and blinded, or had ears chopped off for the most minor offences. Some
were publicly torn limb from limb or exposed to totally dehumanizing
acts, all on behalf of the gods, under the direction of the priest or
the state!

In spite of all this, remnants of the Khe philosophy still survived
among isolated wise men whom Spirit warned, protected and guided. These
were the rays of light through which Spirit was able to contact the
earth plane with true wisdom, for mystics have access to Divine
knowledge without any need for physical intermediaries, such as books or
earth teachers.

One such sage, Noah by name, was to live on in human memory as perhaps
the last survivor of the Old Order of Khe, and the founder of a new
nation.

Noah was greatly revered by his small circle of friends as a true
mystic. When he received forewarning of an impending disaster, in spite
of every external indication to the contrary, and countless physical
obstacles, he lost no time in acting unquestioningly on the advice
received. The fantasy element of the story of the ark lies in both the
time element in which the flood took place and the livestock inventory
aboard the vessel.

For many years prior to 2090 B.C. Noah laboured at his inspired task of
building a seaworthy craft to the exact specifications suggested by his
angelic advisors. His work was hampered by the long distances he had to
travel to obtain logs for the lumber he needed.

As his shipbuilding site must necessarily have been at the edge of
water, it is quite probable that he lived near the new Khe capital of
Ar-Raas, built on the north bank of the then extended Nile. The name
Ar-Raas was an ecclesiastical adaptation of the old Atlantean title of
Rais, the name given to the senior theologian and metaphysican in
Atlantis.

Subject to the constant jeers and coarseness of those about him, Noah
endured their vicious attempts at sabotage with faith and courage almost
beyond human endurance. But his task was centred in a knowledge of God,
and the availability of Universal Mind to all those who put their trust
in Him. In moments of near despair, Noah was bathed in the glorious
perfume of his Guide. He drew new daily strength from the spiritual
vibrations which hovered constantly about him.

It is probable that the Khe'ans had several years of warning about the
forthcoming events. The art of astronomy was not entirely lost, and
there must have been some visual evidence of the approach of a new star,
gaining momentum in its headlong approach. Possibly Mars, in its
peculiar position between earth and sun, hid the approach from certain
angles. But probabilities aside, Noah was fully aware of the type of
catastrophe expected and the essential precautions required.

The story of Noah's Ark is familiar to both Bible and Koran students.
Robbed of its embellishments, it is simple tale of a great co-operative
effort by man and Spirit. The resultant vessel was completely out of
proportion with its times. Its strength and seaworthiness can only be
judged in conjunction with the elevation of its final resting place;
only waves of gigantic proportion could have carried it so high aloft.

Into his ark, Noah took his family and specimens of all his livestock,
together with supplies of food and water. His aim was to replenish the
earth to the best of his ability once the disaster was over.

One is led to look upon the Old Testament version of this story with
considerable charity. It is understandable that the author would think
the whole world would perish beneath the rising flood crest. The "whole
world" was a comparatively small area in those days.

At the last notation, we had left Mars positioned somewhere between the
sun and planet earth, upon which continents were afloat. We had seen how
the magnetic force of the Atlantean holocaust had sped farther and
farther out into space, until it was finally spent or until it contacted
resistance in the form of another planet which partly absorbed the
terrific impact involved. In the wake of this energy, a huge vortex
sucked debris into the resultant vacuum.

Now, in the days before the Great Flood, a vagrant planet came hurtling
out of space as a further repercussion of the Atlantean experiment. It
had been jolted out of its orbit centuries before by the force of the
original explosion. But, at the time of the planet's charge towards us,
earth was positioned in such a way that the effects of the impact were
far less reaching than they otherwise might have been, for at this
time Mars stood like a guardian planet on a slightly closer orbit around
the sun. It approached just at the right moment to absorb most of the
initial impact of the collision.

It is interesting to note that Mars, the legendary celestial warrior,
later known as the "God of War", was indeed the planet which in two
great aerial wars was eventually sacrificed for earth's survival.

Upon the approach of the vagrant planet, life on Mars must have
suffered a mortal blow, while on earth a comparatively small area of the
total land mass was affected, an area roughly the same as that where the
primary destructive force had been released.

The myths and legends of all the ancient people living along the
original "band of Life" tell this story in one way or another, though
with much distortion and confusion of detail. The legends of one cult
give precedence to Jupiter (Zeus) who leaves his place in the sky to do
battle with Typhon. In Egypt the Isis of our previous story was Jupiter.
Osiris was Saturn, also named Amon and Horus, depending on the
particular cult; and Amon-Ra is merely another instance of one cult
being absorbed by another.

While endeavouring to confine ourselves to events occurring within
historical recall, about which certain facts can be established, it is
still necessary to go back farther to clarify any remaining confusion.
It should be known that Jupiter was the result of an earlier cosmic
event which involved other planets not of our present concern.

The Jupiter incident, however, had passed down in legend and later,
when the new planet of which we now speak came into more intimate
contact with earth, new confusion arose as old memories were revived.
Thus many believed that Jupiter had once more left its place in the sky.
Not until much later when the new planet had settled down was it
realized that Jupiter had not moved out of position. So, for a while,
the same appellation was given to the two planets, while other schools
of thought supposed that a new planet had been born of Jupiter. Possibly
the new planet first appeared from Jupiter's direction; anyway, the end
result was a tangle of confusion in recorded Egyptian mythology.

In the original story Isis was Jupiter and Osiris was Saturn. No
mention or thought of Venus or Mars was made; the former because it did
not exist in our solar system, the latter because of its proximity to
earth. It is therefore safe to assume that only Venus, Mars and Earth
were involved in this particular catastrophe, especially when weighed
alongside the myths that arose all along the "band of life" as a direct
result of this event. The vagrant planet was later given the name of
Venus -- Morning Star -- Evening Star -- it being on the only
inconsistent orbit in our solar system.

With the advent of Venus on the celestial map, a considerable amount of
name transference began. For example, in the early Assyrian-Babylonian
days Ishtar was the name for Jupiter; it was later changed to Venus.
Baal, yet another name for Jupiter, was an earlier name for Saturn; it,
too, later became Venus.

Many modern authorities subscribe to the theory that the birth of
terrestrial bodies is due to expulsion by larger ones, yet do not accept
the theory of the "Big Bang" formation of the universe. While the
expulsion theory quite evidently holds truth in some instances, it
cannot be accepted as whole truth. There are many causes of cosmic
disturbances, any one of which may, under prescribed circumstances,
cause a whole planet of considerable size to move out of a position and
go hurtling off at a tangent. This may or may not be a collision course,
but still litters the cosmos with debris. In this way short-lived comets
are formed, provided the parent planet is not influenced by a sun as the
centre of its orbital path. A planet under such dominating influence
could not expel any portion of itself under normal circumstances.
Therefore, none of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Mars, or any other planet in
solar orbit could eject another planet, due to being under solar
influence. A new planet, no matter how it is formed, must come into our
solar system from an outside source.

Jupiter and Venus entered our solar system within legendary memory,
causing first confusion, then a transference of ideographical names.

The fortunate angle of the approaching invader lessened the damage
sustained to earth. Perhaps this partial contact might be better
described as a "push" rather than a magnetic attraction, for the force
repelled our world. This indicates that earth and Mars were both
exposing their positive poles to a positive approach force which was
equal to the combined exposures of Earth and Mars. No actual contact
took place but earth and Mars were pushed into expanded orbits. The
effect on Earth was to partially separate it from the cover of Mars,
thereby causing the beginning of the end of the ice age and at the same
time increasing the length of the Earth year. The axes of both Earth and
Mars were probably changed.

It is important to bear these facts in mind because of the tremendous
influence they had on earthlings in subsequent years.
Venus was also pushed away, but, not yet under Sol's influence, careened
off the magnetic barrier to begin a long oval-shaped journey that was to
bring it back again and again before its speed was sufficiently slowed
for its magnetic polarity to become equalized into a regular orbital
path of its own.

In ancient histories of the "band of life, and only along this band,
cosmic clashes between planets have been recorded mainly as "Sun Ages".
These sun ages are five in number and each represents a change in the
sun's appearance in the sky.

The ancients believed that periodic changes of the sun's position in
relation to Earth were to be expected as one age came to an end and a
new one began. Though first recorded as "Ages", the term "Sun Ages"
indicated greater importance being placed upon the sun's appearance. It
is most interesting to note that the addition of "Sun" to "Ages" by all
these people occurred within the same relative period.

Many versions were, of course, recorded. Scholars and mathematicians of
the age felt they were able to compute the time-element expectancy
between ages. Theurgists and priests had a field day, advising their
followers to be good and faithful as only those who accepted their
teachings and their gods would survive and find eventual salvation (a
familiar parallel to modern denominational teachings?)

The last three "Sun Ages" were put on ancient record in the following
order:

1. Age of Volcanic eruption.

2. Age of Inundation.

3. Age of Fire.

Of these we have already discussed the first and now speak of the
second, "the Age of Inundation", when a massive movement of water
flooded the lands, seemingly having its greatest effects in a westerly
flow. This is evidenced by the vast flooding occurring all down the
Americas as far west as the high mountain ranges which dominate most of
the West Coast.

When one cosmic force, in the shape of a planet, approaches another,
the gravitational pull of either can be changed in the most unpredictable
manner. In this instance, with the pull to the west, the eastern
flooding was less disastrous, though most of Europe as far east as
Paris, France, was inundated. The eastern floods were the result of a
backflow. The forward flow dragged the Atlantic waters together with
enormous amounts of silt in a westerly direction; the returning waters,
despite the huge wall of water involved, were therefore less violent
than the westerly flood.

As expected, tremendous earth tremors and volcanic eruptions
accompanied the Age of Inundation. Mountains were moved and in some
instances travelled many miles to become deposited atop mountains of
older origin.

To the west another offshoot of Atlantean culture was swept away in a
single night of terror as a great wall of water, thousands of feet high,
crossed rapidly over the land.

Much of Earth's crust seemed bereft of gravitation. Whole cities were
lifted like toys and carried forward on the crest of the waves, to be
deposited in the most unlikely places. One such example may be found in
the Andes near the Bolivian border. Here in Peru is a city with an
elevation of 12,500 feet in a region of sparse vegetation. Another such
city is situated on the Altiplana, a high plateau between the eastern
and western Cordilleras, near Lake Titicaca, on the border of Peru. This
dead city strongly reflects Atlantean and Swnian building techniques
with its massive stone walls shaped and pieced together with the same
precision and strength as the pyramids of Egypt.

Archaeological and radiocarbon analysis indicates the age of this
"Andean" culture to be in the 2000 B.C. range which corresponds in the
time with the Egyptian dates of inundation.

Another specimen of the ancient Peruvian civilization is the old
fortress of Ollantaytambo which appears to be built on an elevation of
stone blocks twelve to eighteen feet high. Yet the nearest available
rock of the same type is seven miles distant.

Ollantayparabo, another old fortress in Peru rises on a plateau 13,000
feet above sea level. It, too, is built of massive stone blocks, but
there is no indication of these blocks having been quarried anywhere
nearby. Too heavy to transport, the stone must have been quarried
locally when the fortress was built -- and the whole thing carried
forward and upward, intact, during some great upheaval.

Logic alone questions the need for fortresses at such isolated and high
elevations. The purpose of such strongholds was to house guardians.
These must necessarily be readily mobile to have any value. What then
were they guarding in inaccessible mountain ranges? As the precision and
style of these buildings is nearly identical there can be little doubt
that they were all built about the same time.

Most of Europe was flooded to a considerable depth as the waters rose
and "all the fountains of the great deep were broken up..." (Genesis
7:11) "And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the Earth; and all the
high hills ... were covered Fifteen cubits upward did the waters
prevail; and the mountains were covered. And all the flesh died that
moved upon the earth ... And the waters prevailed upon the earth an
hundred and fifty days." (Genesis 7:19 - 21, 24).

A graphic tale, coloured by time, but accurate in all the essential
details. Modern excavations over the flatlands of Europe as far inland
as Paris, France, testify to the extent of the flooding.

One result of this first encounter with Venus was an effect on seasons
as Earth tilted on its axis. In relation to Earth, the sun rose in a
different part of the sky and for slightly longer periods each day. The
big push actually benefited earthlings with longer, brighter periods of
sunshine and a year now extended to 360 days. Mars no longer stood
between Earth and sun when Venus continued its long flight in space.

With the Great Flood, the last remnants of Khe were swept away, and
when the waters finally subsided, high spots of Khe emerged as a few
small islands in the newly born Mediterranean Sea.

A new civilization developed in these islands, growing out of the few
Khe survivors and people from the north (probably Italy), who, on
entering a new age when there were longer periods of sunshine, began
to move about. In this way the Minoan culture, considered to have been
one of considerable advancement, came to influence the group of islands
which centred around Crete. These include Samos, home of Pythagorus,
and Andros, scene of many modern explorations into ancient
civilizations.
